We hope this letter finds you and your family in good health. Our country and our community have been through very challenging events the last few months. Like your family, our staff has faced many problems during lockdown and are looking forward to resuming our normal habits and routines. We are concerned about those who have not been fortunate during the pandemic and our office has donated thousands of surgical masks and gloves, surgical gowns, wipes and other disinfectants to Bristol Hospital and other local front line works while both Dr. Bencivengo and Dr. Ko remain available to take care the patients who need the urgent dental care.
While many things have changed, one thing has remained the same: our commitment to your safety and delivering excellent dental care. Infection control has always and will continue to be a top priority for our practice and you may have seen this during your visits to our office. Our infection control processes are made so that when you receive care, it’s both safe and comfortable. We want to tell you about the infection control procedures we follow in our practice to keep patients and staff safe.
Our office continues to follow infection control recommendations made by the American Dental Association (ADA), the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). We follow the activities of these agencies and we are up-to-date on the current rulings and guidance that are issued. We do this to make sure that our infection control procedures are current and adhere to each agency’s recommendations. We will be staying abreast of any subsequent rulings related to the COVID-19 virus.
